We are seeking an experienced Revenue Cycle Process Manager to serve as the strategic architect of our Durable Medical Equipment (DME) revenue cycle. In this role, you will design, build, and continuously optimize billing workflows to maximize reimbursement, ensure compliance, and improve operational efficiency.

You'll sit at the intersection of billing operations, regulatory requirements, and technology—translating complex state and payer rules into scalable, system-driven processes that support our billing teams and business growth. While this role does not have direct reports, it requires strong influence and leadership across billing, operations, and IT teams.

Candidates must reside in Vancouver, WA or Portland, OR metropolitan area. This is a hybrid position. We're excited to welcome local talent or those already planning a move; however, this position does not include relocation support.

What You'll Do

• Own the lifecycle of billing improvement initiatives, from identifying bottlenecks to post-implementation auditing.
• Architect end-to-end DME billing workflows, including prior authorization, claim submission, denial management, posting, and audit.
• Research and translate complex state-level and payor-specific rules into actionable system logic and protocols.
• Lead projects with IT to automate manual tasks and ensure the billing system is configured for optimal claim processing.
• Partner closely with the Billing Manager to design new processes, roll out new processes, provide technical documentation, and train the staff on procedural changes.
• Create and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports and analyze data to track billing efficiency and to identify issues.
• Ensure processes are HIPAA compliant.
• Contribute to the company's success through excellent customer service and meeting or exceeding performance objectives.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Medical Billing.
• At least two years in a process architect or other billing process management role including demonstrated experience designing and optimizing workflows.
• Strong experience across the full revenue cycle, ideally within DME billing.
• Proven ability to build processes from scratch and map end-to-end workflows.
• Experience creating current-state and future-state process maps using tools such as Visio or Lucidchart.
• Experience translating business requirements into clear, structured documentation for IT and systems teams.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex workflows and regulatory requirements.

Highly Preferred Skills

• Experience designing revenue cycle workflows in DME or highly regulated environments
• Background in process transformation, workflow design, or systems/process engineering
• Experience implementing automation within billing workflows
• PMP, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process-related certifications

General office environment that will include frequent or continuous periods of talking, sitting, fingering, repetitive motions of the hands/wrists, reaching, grasping and handling. This position also requires occasional bending, squatting, standing, and walking. Pushing, pulling lifting and carrying of up to 20 lbs. is required on an occasional basis. Good general vision and hearing are needed.
