Pay: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Overtime Available: Fridays

About the Opportunity

A leading aerospace manufacturing organization in Sarasota is seeking a Production Control Coordinator to support production operations and ensure the successful execution of manufacturing schedules. This role is responsible for coordinating material availability, monitoring production flow, resolving production constraints, and supporting on-time delivery performance within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute and monitor daily and weekly production schedules to ensure manufacturing goals are met.

  • Coordinate with Supply Chain, Planning, Warehouse, and Production teams to maintain material availability.

  • Identify, communicate, and help resolve material shortages and production constraints.

  • Manage work-in-process (WIP) inventory and material movement transactions.

  • Maintain accurate ERP/MRP system data and production records.

  • Monitor production flow and identify bottlenecks that may impact efficiency or delivery commitments.

  • Support on-time delivery objectives through proactive scheduling and issue resolution.

  • Participate in daily production meetings and communicate schedule status, priorities, and risks.

  • Analyze production delays and implement corrective actions to improve performance.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, and operational excellence.

  • Work closely with manufacturing personnel on the production floor to support daily operations.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills.

  • Knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, and manufacturing operations.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment.

Preferred:

  • Experience in aerospace, aviation, or other regulated manufacturing environments.

  • Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma experience.

  • Familiarity with visual management systems and production performance metrics.

  • Understanding of capacity planning and demand management.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sarasota, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
