Associate Product Engineer - Retail Systems

About the role We are looking for a detail-oriented Associate Product Engineer to support the execution of product development programs for retail fixture and merchandising systems. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across the US, China, and Mexico to ensure technical accuracy, documentation integrity, and smooth project execution throughout the product development lifecycle. What you'll do Product Development & Execution Conduct in-store measurements and field verification Support prototype tracking, testing, and validation Assist in design brief preparation and cross-team alignment Support field engineering activities, including site measurements, sample installations, and on-site coordination with sales teams to support customer-facing projects Support preparation and verification of BOM Maintain technical documentation and version control Review drawings and clarify technical details with suppliers Quality & Compliance Coordinate structural and load testing Support UL certification and regulatory documentation Assist in quality improvement and risk mitigation efforts Supplier & Cross-functional Coordination Follow up on prototype builds and testing Coordinate with suppliers across regions (US, China, Mexico) Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Production, and Sales teams Project Support Track project timelines and milestones Prepare internal status updates and reports Qualifications 1–3 years of experience in product engineering, mechanical design, or related fields Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (metal fabrication, injection molding preferred) Ability to read and interpret technical drawings Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams Core Competencies Detail-oriented with strong execution focus Strong organizational and coordination skills Effective cross-functional communication Structured problem-solving mindset Exposure to large-scale retail programs and global customers Opportunity to grow into a Product Engineer role Hands-on experience across design, sourcing, and production #J-18808-Ljbffr
