Testing Technician

Our customer in Richmond, Illinois, is seeking motivated individuals to join their team. We’re recruiting a Testing Technician to work full-time on 1st shift. As a Testing Technician, you will be responsible for conducting hands-on product and component testing, documenting results, supporting process improvements, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure quality standards and production schedules are met.

Responsibilities of the Testing Technician:

• Provides hands-on testing of products and components as required to ensure test standards, customer requirements, and production schedules are met.
• Reports accurate test results and recommends corrections.
• Assists in developing procedures for testing and evaluation using existing and/or new equipment.
• Ensures test procedures and instructions for recording, evaluating, and reporting data are properly followed.
• Interfaces with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing departments to help resolve test-related issues.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or vocational school training in a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
• Capable of working under general supervision based on guidance and direction provided by team members.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Knowledge of ERP or MRP software, design software, and order processing systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong mathematical aptitude.

Pay for Testing Technician: Starting at $24-$27/hour.
