Kelly is hiring experienced CNC Machinists in Grand Junction, CO. If you have 5+ years of machining experience and hands-on experience setting up and operating multi-axis CNC equipment, we want to hear from you!

• Pay: $35.00–$45.00/hr Depending on Shift & Experience
• 1st & 2nd Shifts Available
• Temp-to-Hire Opportunities

Shift & Pay Options

• 1st Shift: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM | $35.00–$39.00/hr
• 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM | $40.00–$45.00/hr
• Four 10-hour shifts – enjoy a 3-day weekend!

Training Requirements

• 1st Shift: Must be available to train between 7:00 AM–3:30 PM and 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: Must be available to train on day shift for approximately one month before transitioning to 2nd shift
• Flexibility for daytime training is required

What You'll Do

• Set up and operate 3-, 4-, and 5-axis CNC mills and/or CNC lathes with or without live tooling
• Read blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to manufacture precision components
• Set tool offsets and work positions and enter machine commands
• Understand and work with G and M codes and/or Mazatrol programming
• Calculate proper tooling feeds and speeds
• Assemble cutting tools and monitor machine operations for worn or damaged tooling
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
• Operate hand and power equipment as required
• Maintain established quality and 6S standards
• Follow all workplace safety procedures

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of CNC Machinist experience required
• Hands-on CNC setup and operation experience required
• Experience with 3-, 4-, or 5-axis CNC mills and/or CNC lathes
• Strong blueprint reading skills, including GD&T
• Knowledge of G and M codes and/or Mazatrol programming
• Strong knowledge of precision measuring and inspection tools
• Ability to perform machine calculations, including feeds and speeds
• Ability to lift and load parts weighing up to 50–75 lbs.
• Comfortable performing physically demanding manufacturing work
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High School Diploma/GED or higher education preferred
• Mazak Mill, Integrex, or other multi-axis machining experience preferred
