As a Screener with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will help support a secure environment by screening individuals and items, monitoring assigned areas, and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide professional customer service and clear communication while helping to deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $16.82 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You\'ll Do: Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers while carrying out site-specific screening procedures and emergency response activities as appropriate. Screen employees, visitors, packages, and property entering or leaving the distribution location in accordance with established procedures. Monitor access points and verify authorized entry credentials, shipping documentation, and visitor authorization as required. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate site contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols of designated screening areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity. Minimum Requirements: Have at least 6 months of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Be comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
