If you are looking for a family-oriented company that lives by its values, join our team today!(Please note if you are viewing this posting on an external job board, unless specifically stated in the posting, the provided hourly/salary estimates may not be accurate as they are not provided by CKS.)What's In It For You?Stable, growing organization with opportunity for future advancement of qualified candidatesCompetitive pay based on experience and qualificationsPaid vacation, sick days and bonus after eligibility period metExcellent medical/dental benefits at modest employee contributions401k participation with Company matching contributions upon completion of first 30 days of serviceReferral BonusOTR Driver Responsibilities:Deliver freight safely and efficientlySecure freight before leavingInspect vehicle before each tripLog all details of each trip, including time spent driving, breaks, mileage, and expensesMust obey any and all applicable traffic laws while drivingCommunicate with dispatch team throughout the tripPerform vehicle maintenance tasks as neededReport any issues with freight, vehicle, and/or travelYard Driver Responsibilities:Move trailers in between plants/warehousesVerify seals and perform any load status yard checks as requiredPerform trailer safety checksMust obey any applicable traffic laws while operatingWill obey all facility traffic and safety rules as requiredAdhere here to appropriate training records and sign off proceduresParticipate in continuous improvement processesMaintain an effective Preventative Maintenance Inspection (PMI) schedule for equipment.Yard Driver Shift Availability:2nd: Monday through Friday, some Saturday's, 3:00am-11:00pm3rd: Monday through Friday, some Saturday's 11:00pm-7:00amSkills/Qualifications:CDL Class AClean MVR no violations or citations (personal or commercial)Must have on hand copy of MVRMust have a valid DOT Medical CardClean Clearinghouse RecordMinimum of 2 years OTR Driving experienceFamiliarity with regulations and laws in trucking industryStrong Driving SkillsAlertness and attention to detailsStrong communication skillsComfortable with use of technology, such as GPS and transportation management software
