Certified Respiratory Therapist (New Grads Welcome)

Job Summary Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) – Full‑time, non‑exempt night shift (3x12s). Base pay $33.50–$45.09/hr plus shift differentials. Total weekly compensation $1,206–$1,623. Department: Cardiopulmonary / Respiratory Therapy | Location: Chicago Metro Area, Illinois. Job Type: Full‑time | Non‑exempt | Shift: Nights Rapid interview within 24–48 hours. Responsibilities In absence of a supervisor, may serve as Lead RCP, overseeing operations during shift. Provide respiratory care and pulmonary therapy per physician orders. Manage mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and airway management. Perform and interpret arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis. Conduct pulmonary diagnostic procedures and patient assessments. Implement patient‑specific care plans. Document patient care, interventions, and outcomes accurately. Respond to critical care situations and emergencies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams. Qualifications State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required. Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintenance. 2+ years experience as a RCP preferred. ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and ongoing. NRP certificate preferred. PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and ongoing. Associate degree or Bachelor of Science preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required.
