Pharmacy Technician

This is a backfill contract position for a Pharmacy Technician. The duration of the position is for 13 weeks with various shifts available. IV room experience is required for applicants. The typical assignment includes 40 hours of work per week, with weekend coverage. The unit has a total of 450 beds and approximately 60 staff members. On the day shift, there are typically 10 pharmacists and 8-9 technicians. During the evening shift, there are 3 pharmacists and 4 technicians. The night shift consists of 1 pharmacist and 2 technicians. Patient ratios vary depending on the shift. Dress code includes a khaki top and black pants for technicians. The unit values an exceptional understanding of its processes and functions. Recognition for the department may include team awards and events. The work environment offers new equipment and technology, providing opportunities for professional development.
