Must-Have:
- Experience with oncology and hematology diagnoses
- Ability to manage DNR/CC patients and oncologic emergencies
- Skills in administering chemotherapy, managing ports, and handling body fluids post-chemotherapy


Description:
The registered nurse will provide care for adult and geriatric patients.
This position involves managing oncology diagnoses from diagnosis to end of life.
Candidates must have experience in handling oncologic emergencies.
The nurse will work within a patient ratio of 1:6.
There is an average daily census of 15 on the unit.
The work will involve using Epic for charting and managing medication with Pyxis.
The nurse should be comfortable with chemotherapy precautions and administering morphine and dilaudid drips.
Interdisciplinary support includes IV teams, physical therapy, social services, and pharmacy among others.
Weekend shifts are required every other weekend.
Availability to work one major holiday during the assignment period is expected.
Compliance with all requirements is necessary for an on-time start.
