The Security Team

Examples of key problems the team is working on

• You're securing the frontier of AI. The model weights training on our infrastructure are the most valuable and most targeted artifacts in technology, and we're standing up the compute to hold them faster than anyone ever has. A breach isn't a leak, it's the frontier walking out the door.

• Build the entire security program from scratch. Most leaders inherit someone else's system and spend a career patching it. Here you own it end to end, bare metal to boardroom, as we scale across continents.

• Your threat surface is measured in gigawatts. The customers running on our infrastructure are building the most consequential technology in human history, and being responsible for the physical and logical security of that work makes everything else feel small.

Role Scope

• Operate the GSOC across Fluidstack's site portfolio on a 24/7 basis: alarm monitoring, video review, access-event triage, and incident dispatch.

• Administer the physical security technology stack: access control, video management, intrusion detection, and intercom platforms.

• Troubleshoot and resolve system faults end to end, from device failures to head-end issues, integration breaks, and network-layer problems, and fix them permanently rather than just clearing them.

• Manage badge issuance, access provisioning, and credential lifecycle across all sites with least-privilege access and clean audit trails.

• Maintain the security systems environment: patching, firmware, configuration backups, and routine performance audits.

• Coordinate with on-site security teams, integrators, and IT to drive incidents, work orders, and changes to closure.

What We're Looking For

• You're equally comfortable on the GSOC console and under the hood of the systems, and you've done both real-time monitoring and hands-on systems administration.

• You administer ACS, VMS, and intrusion platforms hands-on: pushing firmware, troubleshooting controllers and readers, fixing integration and network-layer faults.

• You manage credentialing and access at scale with least-privilege discipline and audit-ready records.

• You treat every fault as something to fix permanently, and you document thoroughly.

• Bonus: Genetec, Lenel, or Milestone platforms. Data center or critical-infrastructure security. Networking fundamentals (VLANs, switching). IP video and analytics.

The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location. This range represents our good faith estimate of the compensation for this role at the time of posting. Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options.
