Licensed to practice law in Texas and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas. Strong knowledge of U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and court procedures. Proficient in legal research and writing (motions, briefs, and petitions). Fluency in Spanish is strongly preferred, as the majority of clients may be Spanish-speaking. Effective oral advocacy skills for court hearings, client meetings, and USCIS interviews. Willingness to travel for court hearings, USCIS interviews, and detention center visits across the country (if necessary).
