Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – South Texas**Start Date:** September 28, 2026
**Location:** Coastal South Texas
**Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants
**Schedule:** 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, call may be utilized on scheduled shifts when census allows**Highlights:**- 24-bed critical care unit with 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratios depending on acuity- Advanced critical care environment with specialized equipment including vents, Swans, Impellas, and balloon pumps- Opportunity to participate in complex procedures: intubation, central lines, bronchoscopy, EVDs, ICP monitoring, Swan placement, pacers, and bolts- Structured team approach with Charge Nurse, RN staff, and unit support personnel on each shift- Royal blue scrubs required- May float to Doctors ICU as needed**Requirements:**- Active RN license or eligibility to practice in Texas- BLS and ACLS certification required- ICU experience is mandatory – candidates without ICU experience will not be considered- Level 1 or 2 trauma center experience preferred- Cardiovascular surgery experience preferred- Excellent customer service and communication skills**Why It's a Great Opportunity:**This position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity ICU environment with advanced technology and complex patient populations.
