Role Description The Assistant Electrician role is a full-time, on-site position based in West Palm Beach, FL. In this role, the Assistant Electrician supports licensed electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential and commercial properties. Daily tasks include assisting with wiring, panel upgrades, lighting installations, and equipment setup, while following safety standards and local electrical codes. The Assistant Electrician also helps with troubleshooting electrical issues, preparing materials and tools, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This position offers opportunities to gain hands-on experience and develop skills under the guidance of experienced professionals. Qualifications Candidates should possess foundational knowledge of electricity and basic electrical work. Candidates should possess skills in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems. Candidates should possess an understanding of electrical engineering principles relevant to field work. Relevant skills such as the ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints are beneficial. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or apprenticeship experience in electrical work is preferred. Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, standing for extended periods, and working in varied environments.
