As a Traffic Engineer, you will support traffic studies and analyses that inform transportation planning and design decisions for public-sector clients. You will work alongside experienced engineers and planners while continuing to develop your technical expertise.**What You’ll Do*** Perform traffic impact analyses, operational studies, and safety evaluations* Develop traffic models, forecasts, and supporting documentation* Assist with agency coordination and technical reviews* Support senior engineers and planners on transportation projects* Ensure work meets quality standards and regulatory requirements# **Qualifications****Required*** Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline* Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license* 3+ years of traffic engineering experience**Preferred*** Experience with traffic analysis software* Exposure to DOT or public-sector transportation projects# **About Freese and Nichols**At the heart of our culture is our LEADS values (**L**earn continuously, **E**ngage as family, **A**ct with integrity, **D**eliver quality, and **S**erve always).
