Team members are required to participate in response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our customers. This includes working in normal job duties or other assigned activities, and will be compensated per company rules and procedures. Responding to storms is a condition of employment. Work Conditions Most work is performed in an office environment; occasional travel to operating locations may be required. Level 1 – Associate Systems Analyst Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop software of limited complexity based on provided specifications. Implement software packages requiring limited configuration and integration with minimal vendor contact. Integrate applications with interfaces of limited complexity as per specifications. Provide 24x7 primary support for one or more niche or core applications; may provide secondary support for mission‑critical applications. Support the request and analysis phases of the SDLC by assisting with documentation and estimates. Execute the design, development, and implementation phases of the SDLC by delivering prescribed outputs under guidance of senior staff. Participate on Application Development and Support teams and on project teams under manager or senior staff direction. Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant business areas. Acquire and maintain appropriate technical skills. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information/Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or equivalent. A bachelor’s degree may be substituted by additional years of related experience. Experience: Minimum 1 year of systems analysis, design, and development experience. In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, a minimum high school diploma plus 4+ years of related experience may be considered. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies; current IT industry trends; good verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills; understanding of project plans; proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite; comprehension of technical design specifications and development tools. Level 2 – Systems Analyst Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop software of moderate complexity based on provided specifications. Implement software packages requiring moderate configuration and integration; may interact with vendor resources remotely or on site. Integrate applications with moderately complex interfaces as per specifications. Provide 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for one or more niche, core, or mission‑critical applications. Support the request and analysis phases of the SDLC by producing documentation and estimates reviewed by senior staff. Execute the design, development, and implementation phases of the SDLC by producing prescribed deliverables with senior staff review. Participate on Application Development and Support teams and project teams; may act as technical lead on small projects. Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant business areas. Acquire and maintain appropriate technical skills. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; additional experience may be considered. Experience: Minimum 2 years of systems analysis, design, and development; if no bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma plus 4+ years of experience may be considered. Preferred: Four years of experience. Certifications: At least one professional certification in a related discipline. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Working knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies; good verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to articulate project plans and timelines; ability to produce and review technical design specifications; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Level 3 – Senior Systems Analyst Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Develop complex software based on provided specifications, collaborating with Business Systems Analysts or Partners. Implement software packages requiring in‑depth configuration and integration; drive substantial vendor interaction. Integrate applications with complex interfaces as per specifications. Provide 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for niche, core, or mission‑critical applications. Support the request and analysis phases of the SDLC by producing documentation and estimates; review deliverables from junior staff. Execute design, development, and implementation phases of the SDLC, producing deliverables and reviewing those from junior staff. Participate on Application Development and Support teams and on project teams; may act as technical lead on projects. Acquire and maintain knowledge of relevant business areas. Acquired technical skills; mentor junior staff; develop standard practices within team. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; additional experience may be considered. Experience: Minimum 6 years of systems analysis, design, and development; if no bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma plus 4+ years of experience may be considered. Preferred: 8 years of experience. Certifications: One or more professional certifications. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Strong knowledge of business software applications and hardware technologies; strong verbal, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills; ability to develop and review technical design specifications; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite; ability to mentor and lead. Level 4 – Systems Analyst Consultant Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Lead complex software development projects; collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and Partners. Lead selection and implementation of complex software packages; drive substantial vendor interaction. Lead integration of applications with complex interfaces. Provide 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for niche, core, or mission‑critical applications; coordinate maintenance and release schedules. Support request and analysis phases of SDLC by producing documentation and estimates; oversee and manage deliverables from junior staff. Execute design, development, and implementation of SDLC by producing deliverables and overseeing junior staff. Participate on Application Development and Support teams and project teams; function as technical lead and oversee technical staff. Serve as subject matter expert in multiple business areas; mentor and direct junior staff; develop and drive standard practices. Develop and drive standard practices within team. Level 5 – Lead Systems Analyst Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Lead complex software development projects; collaborate with Business Systems Analysts and Partners. Lead selection and implementation of complex software packages; drive substantial vendor interaction. Lead integration of applications with complex interfaces. Provide 24x7 primary and/or secondary support for niche, core, or mission‑critical applications; coordinate maintenance and release schedules. Support request and analysis phases of SDLC by producing documentation and estimates; manage and oversee junior staff. Execute design, development, and implementation phases of SDLC; manage and oversee junior staff. Participate on Application Development and Support teams and project teams; may act as technical lead and direct staff; may lead multiple concurrent projects. Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; one or more professional certifications required. Experience: 10 years of systems analysis, design, and development; if no bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma plus 4+ years of experience may be considered. Preferred: 12 years of experience.
