The practice relies on a flexible, on-demand clinical team to staff surgical cases and recovery care as needs arise, and is building a dependable bench of clinicians who want steady, well-supported per-diem work.

Position Summary

The X-Ray Technologist provides diagnostic imaging support as needed. This is a low-frequency, as-needed role — ideal for a tech who wants occasional per-diem shifts rather than regular volume.

Key Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging studies as ordered by the physician.
Position patients correctly and safely for each study.
Follow radiation safety protocols at all times.
Maintain imaging equipment and document studies accurately.

Qualifications & Requirements

Active state radiologic technologist license/certification (ARRT).
Current BLS certification.
Comfortable with infrequent, as-needed scheduling.

Schedule & Logistics

Shifts are typically posted the evening before, often for an early-morning (around 7:30 AM) start.
Most shifts run up to 8 hours; some are shorter, targeted evening shifts (5:00 PM – 9:00 PM), which are especially welcomed.
A break is provided before the shift concludes.
Shift availability varies by day — clinicians who can flex across the week have the best access to open shifts.

Compensation
