Qualifications
Education & Qualification Requirements:
- Current Registered Nursing (RN) License required
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University required
- Master's Degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program
- Active registration as a Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Registered Nursing
- Certification from a national accrediting body, such as the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) (e.g. Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, etc.)
- Alternatively, eligibility within 90-days of hire
- Active Nurse Practitioner Furnishing license
- Alternatively, eligibility within 90-days of hire
- Active DEA number and "X" Waiver to prescribe buprenorphine products
- Alternatively, eligibility within 90-days of hire
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Demonstrated experience and education in providing care for clients with mental health and substance use disorders.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Must have valid Driver's License
- Adept counseling abilities
- Ability to coordinate with professionals from diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to the philosophy of recovery and continuity of the program
- Customer service oriented, professional attitude
- Current TB Test, CPR/First Aid
Work authorization/security clearance requirements:
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification.
