Junior Video Editor/Producer - Sports

About the Role We’re looking for a Junior Video Editor / Producer to support our sports content team and work directly with creators to produce fast, engaging, social-first video content. This role is ideal for someone who understands sports culture, creator-driven storytelling, and the speed of social media—especially around live games, events, and breaking moments. You’ll collaborate closely with creators, producers, and the social team to help turn ideas, performances, and moments into content that resonates across platforms. Responsibilities Edit short-form and long-form sports content in Adobe Premiere Pro Work hands‑on with creators to develop, cut, and refine social‑first videos Turn creator footage into highlights, recaps, promos, and platform‑optimized clips Create versions for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other social platforms Assist with motion graphics, titles, and animations in After Effects Design and adjust thumbnails, score graphics, and visual assets in Photoshop Support creators and producers during shoots, prep, and post‑production Manage media, organize assets, and maintain efficient project workflows Take feedback from creators and creative leads and implement revisions quickly Work non‑traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and event‑based schedules Requirements 2+ years of professional or equivalent experience in video editing or post‑production Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop Experience creating social‑first video content, ideally in sports or creator‑driven media Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and hook‑driven editing for digital audiences Ability to collaborate closely with on‑camera talent and creators Ability to work on‑site in Santa Monica, CA Comfortable with flexible schedules tied to sports and creator timelines Nice to Have Experience working with digital creators, influencers, or athletes Understanding of platform best practices (vertical formats, captions, trends) Basic production knowledge (camera, lighting, audio) Strong interest in sports, internet culture, and social trends What We Offer Direct collaboration with creators and talent High‑volume, high‑impact sports and social content A fast‑paced, creative environment with growth opportunities Benefits Competitive salary.
