Please apply today! ***this must sit in Charlotte, NC*** Job Title: Financial Operations Analyst Location: Charlotte, NC (3x/week onsite) Duration: Contract through the end of year (12/31/2026) with high potential to extend and/or convert FTE! Pay Rate: 40-46/hour Job Description: The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing analytical support for a Global Markets Operations function encompassing one or more operational product areas including Cash and Collateral Management. Key responsibilities include analyzing and resolving semi-complex operational issues and initiatives as well as day-to-day responsibilities requiring exceptional handling and cross team coordination between multiple operations teams and functions. Job expectations include managing day to day functions such as wiring funds, account balancing, collateral management, trade comparison, break resolution, intraday projections, as well as collaboration opportunities such as projects and the introduction of new initiatives. Functions: Timely and accurate cash management functions. Perform daily reconciliations and event monitoring. Analysis of Fed and DTC securities used as collateral. Perform basic analytics to resolve account balancing discrepancies Production of daily reports – distribute daily reports to the Trading desk, Business Partners and Senior Management (requiring a high level of attention to detail) Resolve queries – Investigate any issues raised to the team, liaising with Front Office, Back Office, Finance and/or the client, as necessary. Involvement in a broad range of initiatives across multiple platforms driven by both the Business and Trade Control and work to ensure they are effectively implemented and delivered. Requirements: Presentable, confident and client focused. Client facing experience or ability to conduct discussions with Clients in a confident manner Excellent communications skills and ability to present to an audience Ability to multi-task and manage time wisely High Attention to Detail Ability to work under pressure in a team environment Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds Sense of urgency and understanding of break escalation Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised.
