POSITION SUMMARY

The Deposit Operations Associate is responsible for supporting the bank's deposit operations functions by performing research and responses for legal subpoenas, completing account verification requests, resolving ACH load and processing exceptions, and conducting quality assurance reviews of electronically maintained documents. This position requires strong attention to detail, regulatory awareness, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with internal departments, customers, and external agencies to ensure accurate and timely processing.

• Investigate and resolve ACH Load Errors in the core system.
• Research customers, account records and transaction history in response to research requests, subpoenas and other legal requests.
• Track deadlines and ensure timely fulfillment of requests.
• Process verification of deposit account requests from authorized third parties.
• Ensure all paper verification requests are supported by proper customer authorization.
• Perform quality control of the indexed deposit documents in the Document Imaging system (ONBASE).
• Processes IAT Transactions.
• Perform verification of Stop Payment Maintenance.
• Process all Federal Benefit Payment Direct Deposit Requests.
• Crosstrain and provide backup coverage for all Deposit Operations Associate functions.
• Must complete BSA, AML, and other Regulatory and Continuing Education as assigned.
• Must adhere to all bank and regulatory policies and procedures specific to position. Performs additional duties as requested.

Education/Experience/Skills & Abilities

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year of banking experience preferred.
• Good customer service skills/telephone etiquette.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). 
• Good problem-solving skills.
