As a Registered Nurse in our psychiatric unit, you will be at the forefront of providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop and implement care plans, and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment. Your role will be pivotal in promoting a recovery-focused environment and supporting patients through their journey.

• Assess and develop patient care plans in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team
• Provide and coordinate nursing care for individuals and groups
• Educate patients and families on discharge and aftercare planning
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
• Document and report necessary information according to established procedures
• Monitor patient safety and report potential risks to physicians
• Function as a clinical leader, delegating and coordinating staff assignments
• Promote careful use of resources and uphold professional standards of care
• Need 2 years experience in setting
• COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
• BLS Certification required
• Michigan State License required
