Senior Lab Technician - Construction & Manufacturing Job ID: 1023287 Rogers , Minnesota Job Type: Contract To Hire Added - 2 days ago Job Description A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an Engineering Lab Technician Position type: Full Time, Contract Location: Rogers Minnesota 55374 Shift: 1 st Job Description As anEngineering Lab Technician, you will: Build up of test prototypes with minimal supervision. Run tests to company standard test procedures. Make test set-ups without supervision. Collect test data and monitor long‑term tests. Report test results, including completion of lab test request form, writing formal reports when appropriate. Participate in lab maintenance and housekeeping activities. Actively participate in quality improvement activities. Actively take initiative to increase technical proficiency. Knowledge and use of test procedures. From the test results identify any design or manufacturing errors/issues to the project team. Outline procedures to be included in the instruction manual on new products. Design and construction of simple test fixtures. Other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED:

2-year technical degree or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in lab test and development but flexible for the right person, even if they have little to no experience Demonstrated ability to set up all tests without supervision. Excellent mechanical and/or electrical aptitude. Knowledge of general lab practices, tools, and equipment. Demonstrated ability to work with computers, data acquisition equipment, lab instrumentation, and shop tools. This position is only open to applicants who can be engaged on a W-2 basis. 1099 contractors and Corp-to-Corp arrangements will not be considered for this position. We are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar positions.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
