Product Manager

In a nutshell: The Product Manager is responsible for guiding the development and success of a product from conception to launch and beyond. They act as a bridge between various stakeholders. They work closely with the factory to guarantee the best product, service, price and support to our customers. Key tasks and Responsibilities: Sales Support and Training Serve as the main point of contact for the sales team during the sales process, providing the needed technical support, recommend sales strategies and support closing deals. Coach and teach the sales team to ensure they have the required knowledge to work independently while still providing guidance during difficult situations. Solution Project Process Ensure that all the required steps in the sales process are completed, and stakeholders (local and global) are informed to guarantee a smooth and successful installation Product Application Support Bridge communication between the market (sales and customer) and the internal technical stakeholders to ensure the applications team has all the necessary information based on the customer’s requirements Provides coaching and training to the Application Engineer on how to explain and sell a feature or machine to a customer Ability to demonstrate what differentiates Bystronic in the market while confidently communicating these points, and offering guidance that improves their technical accuracy, sales effectiveness, and customer engagement Ability to contribute and strategize the market position of the machine, offer insights on pricing, suggest promotions, marketing campaigns and other strategies that can improve sales. Product Market Launch Manage the overall machine market launch, ensuring that service, application, and sales team have the proper knowledge to support the customers, and that Bystronic is equipped with the right parts, tools and training to support the product after the sales Lead the collection, organization, and reporting of customer feedback. This includes driving benchmark activities, preparing market studies, and gathering structured input from customers to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. What you will be doing: Ensure that the sales team are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and resources they need to effectively promote and sell products with the goal of facilitating the sales process. Assist sales engineers in addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues related to products, ensuring a smooth buying experience Provide sales and global team with insights into market trends, competitive analysis, and customer feedback, enabling them to tailor their sales strategies and product improvement effectively Collaborate with global teams during new product launches to ensure that sales teams are prepared and that necessary documentations are available Work closely with marketing to align messaging, promotions, and campaigns that support sales efforts and drive product awareness Recommend strategies to improve market position, improve quality or reduce costs Gather feedback from the sales team and customers to refine sales processes, product improvement, and resources, ensuring they remain competitive and effective. Gather feedback from the sales team and customers on product pricing and competitor positioning Generate feasibility studies and collaborate with the applications team to guarantee the feasibility and deliverability of custom product solutions Participate in trade shows, conferences and any other sales activities as required KPI’s: Revenue Growth Units soldSuccessful Product and Feature Launch Customer Product Satisfaction Market Study and Reporting Product and Marketing Material Generation and Update Key Skillset: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams across the organization Ability to communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and accessible manner, making it easier for diverse audiences to understand, still having strong foundation in technical knowledge and vocabulary that allow to articulate intricate ideas effectively while ensuring clarity and engagement Ability to develop and execute a strategic plan for the product's development and growth, considering market trends, competition, and company objectives Dedicated to prioritizing the customer, advocating for their needs, and collecting customer feedback throughout the product development lifecycle Skill in coaching and training sales representatives to improve their selling techniques, product knowledge, and customer relationship management skills Capacity to generate ROI, reports and customer documentation to justify their investment on a product Experience in a fast-paced, multinational company, ideally within a Service & Sales organization Ability to travel regularly, minimum 75% Your education & experience: Bachelor's degree preffered or equivalent work related experince Minimum of three (3) years of experience in learning and development role, ideally in highly technical environment Strong engineering, marketing, or business background What’s in it for you: PTO Life Insurance Paid Holidays 401k People power our purpose: Imagine working in an environment that helps move the company to the next level, where your passion, values, and skills are integral to impacting the sheet metal industry and beyond.
