A sophisticated and rapidly growing Connecticut litigation boutique is seeking an attorney with at least two years of litigation experience in civil defense and insurance coverage to join its expanding practice.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney seeking sophisticated litigation and coverage work within a collaborative, entrepreneurial, and highly supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in both insurance coverage and defense litigation, although the firm is open to candidates with particularly strong experience in one area and a demonstrated interest in developing the other.

The Role

Attorneys in this practice play an active role in all phases of litigation and insurance coverage matters, including:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, briefs, and coverage opinions
• Conducting research and analysis on complex insurance coverage and bad faith issues
• Managing discovery and developing litigation strategy
• Taking and defending fact and expert depositions
• Attending court appearances, hearings, mediations, and trials
• Assisting in the defense of insurers in coverage and bad faith litigation
• Working directly with clients, partners, and experts on sophisticated matters from inception through resolution
