Shipping Clerk 3rd Shift

This role focuses on accurately picking, packing, and shipping orders in a high-volume distribution environment. You will work with warehouse management systems, handle physical inventory, and support efficient order fulfillment while collaborating with a team and working independently as needed.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack customer orders accurately in a distribution and warehouse setting.
• Use a warehouse management system (WMS/ERP) to locate, process, and track orders.
• Operate basic PC functions and navigate computer systems to enter and review order information.
• Scan parts and items to ensure correct order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.
• Work both independently and as part of a team to complete daily shipping and receiving tasks.
• Lift parts and products and place them into boxes or containers for shipment.
• Follow paper-based order systems initially and transition to a computer-based order system as the facility upgrades its processes.
• Support shipping and receiving activities, including pulling orders, staging shipments, and assisting with incoming product as needed.
• Perform basic warehouse tasks such as cycle counting and general inventory control.
• Climb ladders and stand for extended periods while performing order picking and warehouse duties.
• Participate in training to learn forklift operation for future responsibilities, as required by the facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterville, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
