MIG Welder/Fabricator

MIG WelderWe're hiring a MIG Welder to assist with the fabrication of custom, skid-mounted pump packages for industrial, sanitary, mining, and municipal water/wastewater applications. This is a shop-based role focused on layout, fit-up, and MIG welding of structural and mechanical components. This is not a millwright position. No field installation, alignment, or machinery teardown work is required.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:Fabricates bases and mounts the pump, motor, and drives to those bases.Perform MIG (GMAW) welding on carbon steel and related materialsRead and interpret blueprints, fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and schematicsUse shop tools such as saws, grinders, drills, and measuring equipmentLayout, fit, and assemble frames, skids, supports, piping components, and bracketsVerify dimensions and fit-up prior to weldingProduce welds that meet visual and dimensional requirementsMaintains and service welding equipment.Keeps work area safe and clean and adheres to Company safety rules and policies.Follow shop safety procedures and welding best practicesCommunicate with supervisors or engineering when drawings or fit-up issues ariseOther duties as assigned by management.About Tencarva: Founded in 1978, with roots dating back to 1926, Tencarva is a distributor, engineering and design partner, and authorized repair center within the process equipment/flow control market.
