Certified Personal Trainer Join URGE FITNESS as a Certified Personal Trainer and help transform lives with personalized training programs. Position Overview We offer both full-time and part-time roles with flexible hours based on business needs. Typical shifts start as early as 5 am on weekdays, night shifts end around 9 pm, and weekend shifts run from 7 am to 1 pm. Compensation Base pay range : $16.00/hr – $35.00/hr Pay Structure Hourly wage plus commissions and bonuses based on performance. Positive culture and fun work environment. Responsibilities Build and maintain a personal training client base. Deliver safe, professional, and comprehensive training programs. Track client progress in the URGE database, ensuring all required information is kept secure. Promote URGE FITNESS programs, services, and products. Market yourself to members via social media, floor engagement, courtesy calls, and email marketing. Conduct 1‑on‑1 training, mobility/stretch sessions, youth fitness programs (children 5+), semi‑private sessions (up to 4 people), large group sessions (up to 20 people), and boxing (upon certification). Requirements Build relationships with members. Excellence in customer service, energy, enthusiasm, and motivation. Extensive knowledge of fitness, cardio, nutrition, and program design. Exercise technique and equipment adjustment proficiency. Excellent time‑management and organizational skills. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel). Reliable but non‑public transportation. Uniform Requirements Purchase an “URGE COACH” shirt ($25‑$30) before employment; reimbursement may be discussed. Wear black, long workout pants and sneakers. Track time during sessions with a stopwatch or smartwatch; cell phones are not authorized. Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Valid CPR/AED certification required before employment. Accredited personal training certification. Four‑year degree in exercise science, sports medicine, or related field is a bonus. One year personal training experience preferred. Program design experience preferred. Physical Demands Perform aerobic activity throughout classes or sessions. Frequent bending, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Lift 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs. Must meet vision requirements for close, distant, depth, and focus. Work Environment Health‑club environment with frequent interaction with members, staff, and vendors. Use of computers and phones; high‑paced, multitasking environment. Shifts may exceed 35 hours continuously without breaks; candidates must be comfortable with this schedule.
