Certified Surg Tech - Travel Job

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist to expertly assist physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current certification from a program accredited by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA)
• BLS Certification
• 2 years' experience as a certified OR tech / Surg Tech in a surgical environment
• For CVOR positions, 2 years' experience as a certified CVOR technologist in a cardiac surgical environment
• Strong experience in trauma and neuro
• Experience with vascular procedures, including endovascular cases

Assignment Details:

• Standard hours per week: 36
• Service focus: primarily vascular
• Shift hours may include 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 12:30 PM - 11:00 PM, and 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
• Specific scheduled days may include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Weekend rotation includes call
• On-call requirement includes one day per week from 3:00 PM - 7:00 AM and one weekend per month from Friday 3:00 PM - Monday 7:00 AM for applicable service lines
• No floating required
• Orientation includes 2 weeks on day shift with buddy call expected during orientation
