Responsibilities Deliver a variety of massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and other specialized modalities tailored to client needs Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual concerns, medical history, and treatment goals Educate clients on self-care practices and post-treatment recommendations to maximize benefits Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of each session, including client progress and treatment plans Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment in compliance with all health regulations and licensing standards Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns or questions Stay current with industry best practices, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance skills Requirements Valid NYS Massage Therapist license in good standing Proven experience with various massage modalities such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports massage, trigger point therapy, prenatal massage, and occupational health treatments Ability to perform 60 minute, 75 minute, and 90 minute treatments Strong knowledge of human physiology and anatomy to tailor treatments effectively Ability to perform patient assessments and develop customized treatment plans based on individual needs Excellent customer service skills with a focus on patient communication and satisfaction Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to massage therapy and pain management Prior experience working in spa settings or occupational health environments is preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
