About the Opportunity

This is a strong opportunity to join a specialty chemicals manufacturer operating within a highly regulated environment where safety, compliance, and fixedasset reliability are core to daily operations. The site maintains a handson, collaborative culture with a heavy emphasis on OSHA PSM compliance, inspection rigor, and longterm equipment integrity. In this role, you'll take ownership of the Mechanical Integrity (MI) program, working closely with reliability, maintenance, engineering, safety, and operations teams to ensure vessels, piping, and tanks are inspected, repaired, documented, and operating safely in accordance with all applicable codes and standards.

As the Mechnical Integrity Engineer you will...

• Own and manage the site Mechanical Integrity (MI) program for all fixed equipment, including pressure vessels, storage tanks, and piping systems.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA PSM, EPA, DOT, and internal safety and engineering requirements.
• Coordinate internal and thirdparty inspections in alignment with API, ASME, NBBIC, and OSHA standards, including scheduling, execution, and documentation.
• Review inspection findings, corrosion reports, and recommendations; track and drive corrective actions to completion.
• Serve as a technical resource for fixedequipment repairs, overseeing contractors and supporting repair and reliability projects.

As the Mechanical Integrity Engineer you should have...

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical integrity, inspection, or reliability roles within a regulated manufacturing environment.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and standards, including API510, API570, API653, ASME, and NBBIC.
• Handson experience managing vessel, piping, and tank inspection programs and supporting repairs.
• Comfortable coordinating contractors, inspectors, and maintenance teams in an active plant environment.
• NDE, API, or KY Boiler/Piping certifications preferred, with solid organizational and communication skills.
