Supervision Received: Applications Development Manager/ppB. Supervision Exercised: None, but could act as a technical team leader/ppEducation and Experience/ppA. Minimum Education and/or experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Business or a closely related field and five (5) years of programming experience. An equivalent combination of education and job related experience, substituted on a year for year basis./ppB. Preferred education and/or experience:/pp Experience with the following technologies:/pp-Asp.net web forms/pp-MVC/pp-HTML5/pp-CSS, including CSS3/pp-Entity Framework/pp-Classic ASP/pp-VBScript/pp-SQL Server Stored Procedures/pp-Angular.js/pp A solid understanding of design principles (physical and logical) and architecture./pp Experience with Transact-SQL using Microsoft SQL Server. Extensive knowledge of relational database design, stored procedure creation, and query building using SQL Server./pp Experience leading the development of highly performing business applications in a multi-tier architecture./pp Experience leading a team to use structured source control using Microsoft Team Foundation Server and Visual Source Safe./pp Experience working in an environment using Extreme Programming practices./pp Experience working in an Agile environment./pp Experience with an Agile Requirements Management tool, such as TFS or Jira./ppC. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:/pp Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills./pp Proficiency with computer software such as MS Office Excel, Word and Outlook./pp Skill in oral and written communications, establishing working relationships with others, effective decision making and conflict resolution./ppD.
