Registered Nurse - Telemetry | Travel | Milwaukee, WI Assignment Overview

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Telemetry unit in a dynamic Level III Trauma Center in Milwaukee, WI. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiac care and will be adept at handling pre-surgical and post-surgical patients not returning from surgery. This setting requires expertise in managing complex patient types including cardiac and heart failure patients.

Responsibilities

• Administer cardiac medications such as Primacor, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine
• Manage heparin, lasix, and insulin infusions
• Perform wound care and monitor telemetry readings
• Provide care to patients with chest tubes and tracheostomies
• Document pain levels and ensure compliance with pain management protocols

Qualifications

Required:

• Registered Nurse with active RN license
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in cardiac care skills
