Financial Operations ManagerOur growing company needs an innovative, versatile, and proactive Financial Operations Manager to handle day-to-day financial and back-office operations with a focus on efficiency, financial management, and process standardization. The responsibilities of this role will include oversight of accounting activities, management of subscription services used by various departments, support of revenue operations function, administration of employee matters, and executive support. We're looking for an energetic professional who thrives on broad responsibility, works very well within a team, and brings a passion for excellence.Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork closely with outside bookkeeping firm on accounting activities within the company including production monthly financials statementsManage financial relationships with vendors and contractors and vendor bill processing and administration of 1099Assist with customer contractual and invoicing activities, customer invoicing portals, processing PO's and Master Service AgreementsProvide back-office support to Operations and Sales teams on accounts receivableManage sales tax reporting and remittances using AvalaraManage new subscription types and other configurations in Chargebee as requiredManage processing and payment of all incoming vendor and contractor invoicesMonitor and Manage transactions on all bank accounts, credit cards, bill payment, lenders and other financial transactions. Record Customer payments in ChargebeeManage activities in PEO platform Rippling for payroll, general employee administration, on-boarding, off-boarding, employee development, and benefit administration.Administration of company offered employee benefits and 401k programMonitoring cashflow and projected expenditures to avoid cash shortage.Prepare annual budget and maintain 5 year financial projection model with CEO and departmental heads and provide regular updates on performance vs budget.Monitor expenses and recommend areas for expense reductionNegotiation of contractual financial terms with vendorsAdminister systems used for the day to day management of the company serving as primary contact with vendors of these systems. (i.e. Xero, Rippling, Carta, Chargebee, Stripe, 90)Assist with matters related to corporate administration and shareholder communicationsDevelop ad-hoc analysis as requested by management team extracting information, compiling data and providing general analysis.Assistance with company or customer events including logistical arrangementsRequired Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesKnowledgeable of standard accounting practices and GAAP principlesExperience with Xero or similar accounting software, and other business applicationsFamiliar with the use of SQL queries and AI tools for financial analysis.Familiar with general employment regulations and common practices.Extensive personal experience with Microsoft Office 365Strong analytical and cognitive skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsTeam player with a strong desire to serve others in pursuit of a common objectiveFormal Education or Equivalent:Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance or business, or commensurate experience3 years experience in a similar role.
