Network Security Engineer

To support enterprise security infrastructure, the remote contract Network Security Engineer will design, implement, monitor, and manage security solutions across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, utilizing expertise in next-generation firewalls, SIEM platforms, and Zero Trust architecture. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage enterprise network security solutions Monitor security events using SIEM, XDR, and SOC monitoring platforms Investigate security incidents, perform threat analysis, and support incident response activities Required Qualifications Hands-on experience with Fortinet, SonicWall, and Palo Alto firewalls Proficiency in implementing Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and identity-based security controls Experience with cloud security initiatives across AWS and Azure Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field preferred Preferred certifications such as Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto PCNSA, or CISSP
