Position Overview

Client is seeking a highly experienced SAP Developer / Global Support Manager to support and maintain enterprise SAP environments within the South Carolina Enterprise Information Systems (SCEIS) organization. This role requires a senior SAP technical professional with deep expertise in ABAP development, SAP architecture, system administration, installation, upgrades, troubleshooting, and public sector SAP implementations.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical leadership capabilities and extensive hands-on experience supporting complex SAP landscapes, including SAP NetWeaver, Fiori, ECC, BW, SRM, and Portal environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP technical architecture, development, implementation, and support activities.
• Design, develop, and maintain SAP ABAP solutions across enterprise applications.
• Manage SAP software installations, configurations, upgrades, and enhancement pack deployments.
• Support SAP NetWeaver environments and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Maintain and administer the SAP Fiori Launchpad and related components.
• Provide technical leadership for SAP application lifecycle management.
• Coordinate with functional teams, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders.
• Support SAP system performance tuning, security compliance, and system optimization.
• Participate in project planning, risk management, and technical governance activities.
• Ensure stable operations of mission-critical SAP systems within a public sector environment.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of SAP ABAP solution architecture and development experience.
• 10+ years of SAP ABAP/Java software installation and configuration experience.
• 5+ years of experience supporting SAP NetWeaver releases.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting the SAP Fiori Launchpad.
• 5+ years of SAP experience within Public Sector/Government environments.
• Strong knowledge of SAP system administration, troubleshooting, and support best practices.
• Experience leading enterprise SAP technical initiatives and support operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting:
  • SAP ECC 6.0 EHP8
  • SAP SRM 7.04
  • SAP BW 7.5
  • SAP Portal 7.x
• Experience with SAP upgrades and enhancement pack installations.
• Microsoft Server 2019–2025 administration experience.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2019 database experience.
• Project Management experience.
• Experience working in large-scale government or public sector organizations.
