We are looking for an experienced CNC Machinist. The Machinist will set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision components used in industrial and oilfield applications.
Job Duties
- Set up and operate CNC lathes OR CNC mill (either/or)
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Load and secure materials and workpieces into machines.
- Set tool and work offsets.
- Install and adjust cutting tools and tooling.
- Adjust speeds, feeds, and machine settings as needed.
- Monitor machines and tooling during production.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
- Check dimensions and tolerances to ensure parts meet specifications.
- Make machine adjustments to maintain part quality and accuracy.
- Identify tooling, machine, and dimensional problems.
- Perform deburring and basic finishing of machined parts.
- Complete production and inspection paperwork.
- Follow quality and safety procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Safely handle materials and components as required.
- Report equipment problems or maintenance needs.
- Meet production, quality, and safety requirements.
