Care Team Leadership: Supervise and support the nursing team, including LPNs, CNAs, and other care staff. Provide training, performance management, and professional development to ensure high-quality care delivery. Care Planning: Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans for residents. Collaborate with physicians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to resident care, medication administration, and infection control practices. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular assessments of care practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance care quality and resident satisfaction. Resident & Family Engagement: Foster strong relationships with residents and their families, addressing any concerns promptly and ensuring that care plans align with their needs and preferences. Staff Coordination: Ensure appropriate staffing levels based on resident needs, and assist in the recruitment, hiring, and training of nursing staff. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident care records and reports, ensuring timely and appropriate documentation of care plans, assessments, and any incidents. Health & Safety: Monitor and enforce safety standards, infection control protocols, and medication management practices to ensure a safe, clean, and healthy environment for all residents.
