We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Apex Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Huntington Station, New York. Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and rehabilitation needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
- Perform various medical procedures and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Current New York State Registered Nurse licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
