Registered Nurse - Huntington Station, New York

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Apex Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Huntington Station, New York. As a Registered Nurse at our organization, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a supportive and compassionate environment. Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to patients with a variety of medical and rehabilitation needs
Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed
Perform various medical procedures and treatments
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements

Associate's degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
Current New York State Registered Nurse licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition patients as needed
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
