Amphibious Medics―an on-site first response, health, and safetyfirm providing services to some of the most important constructionprojects and high-profile media productions in the country―is lookingfor an On-Site EMT-Paramedic. The On-Site EMT-Paramedic serves asaconstruction site medical representative, working closely withconstruction site Health and Safety management teams to provide a safework environment for construction site workers. This includes workingin a first aid capacity for injured workers, analyzing tasks forpotential safety hazards, implementing and participating in a siteHealth & Wellness program, and participating in the workers'compensation process. WhatYou Will Do: Provide triage, first aid, and/or referral to an outside medicalprovider if indicated Be calm in emergencies, assess situations, make sound decisions, and respond swiftly and appropriately, including providing first aid, CPR, and other emergency medical care within the scope of the position. Maintain medical records and medical records database for the site Maintain on-site inventory supplies, restock, and clean equipment usedin the treatment of employees Communicate with outside medical providers on workers’ injury/healingprogression and provide direct follow-up care with workers Provide daily activity logs to the safety team and management team Perform frequent “site walks” to interact with both workers and managers Help coordinate an annual, semi-annual, or quarterly on-site health fair Participate in frequent medical and safety awareness meetings withconstruction workers Requirements Qualifications: One year of full-time experience in 911 emergency medical response Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, navigate an active job site including stairs, and carry required medical equipment weighing up to 35 lbs. Must also be physically capable of responding to medical emergencies, including providing CPR and assisting with or supporting the movement of an injured or incapacitated individual when necessary. Proficient in Microsoft Office Education/Certification: Minimum of a valid National Registry or State Paramedic Certification Valid CPR certification at the Basic Life Support for HealthcareProvider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer(American Red Cross) High School Diploma or equivalent Experience working with OSHA regulations, specifically in 29 CFR 1910 Experience working on large-scale construction sites Experience with the workers’ compensation claim process Instructor certification for First Aid, CPR, and AED training An active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card WhyYou Will Love Working with Amphibious Medics: AmphibiousMedics has a 20-year track record of providing health and safetyservices across multiple industries, including construction, mediaproductions, oil and gas, food service, data centers, and more.
