Job Summary:


The Logistics Leader will assist in coordinating weekly Spiritual Hour lunches. The position entails hours that are generally steady throughout the year and will include some evenings and weekends. The Logistics Leader will work under the supervision of the Administrative Assistant of the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life and will serve as a member of the Religious and Spiritual Life Staff. They must be committed to the Religious and Spiritual Life program and demonstrate support by assisting other staff members. This non-work study position requires a commitment for the entire academic year.

Principal Responsibilities


-Required to attend all weekly Religious and Spiritual Life Staff meetings to report on logistics.

-Participate in all Religious and Spiritual Life Retreats.

-Is required to become an approved ONU driver.

-Use Planning Center online for weekly volunteer scheduling and listing the lunch menu.

-Recruit and coordinate volunteers for Chapel Worship preparation, which includes setting up the sanctuary, lunch preparation and clean up, welcoming students and guests, and other chapel needs.

-Work together with the Religious and Spiritual Life's Administrative Assistant on planning menus for the semester, which includes purchasing (shopping and/or ordering) supplies and food needed for the lunches.

-Work within the budget.

-Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be enrolled as an ONU student
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Committed to assisting with weekly Spiritual Hour activities on Thursdays at 11 am
• Available to attend weekly Religious and Spiritual Life Staff meetings
• Available to attend Fall & Spring Planning Retreats
• Support Religious and Spiritual Life sponsored events
