Travel NICU Registered Nurse - $2,305 per week

Job Overview MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Registered Nurse (RN) with neonatal intensive care (NICU) experience for a 13‑week assignment in Washington, District of Columbia, starting 06/22/2026. The assignment is a 12‑hour night shift, 36 hours per week, paid travel nursing. Requirements 18 months of recent experience in an Acute Care NICU setting Active RN license BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications Degree from an accredited nursing program Additional client‑specific requirements Duties & Responsibilities The RN demonstrates clinical judgment and critical thinking with supervision. The RN will perform according to nursing standards, manage patient care, and assist colleagues. Provide direct and specialized care for newborns requiring close monitoring due to prematurity, birth defects, infection, or other medical conditions that may require surgery or therapy. Work in the NICU with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Assist in developing and implementing plans of care for high‑risk newborns requiring high‑technology equipment such as ventilators or incubators.
