Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Cardiac & Vascular Catheterization Lab Technologist to provide clinical and technical leadership within a hospital-based cardiovascular and interventional imaging environment.

Under the direction of the Department Manager/Director, the Lead Technologist will assume limited supervisory responsibilities and serve as an administrative, clinical, and technical resource for department staff.

The successful candidate will be technically and clinically competent, demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, maintain department standards, and support the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a clinical, technical, and administrative resource to department staff.
  • Provide limited supervisory support under the direction of department leadership.
  • Support daily operations of the Cardiac and Vascular Catheterization Lab.
  • Demonstrate and maintain technical and clinical competency.
  • Ensure compliance with department standards, policies, procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to other technologists and department staff.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, technologists, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Promote safe, efficient, and patient-centered care.
  • Assist with department initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Support effective communication and teamwork within the department.
  • Maintain professional competency and participate in required education and training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Radiology Imaging Technologist program recognized by the appropriate allied health accreditation body.
  • California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Certification required upon hire.
  • ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required upon hire.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required upon hire.
  • Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Cardiovascular and/or Interventional Imaging Technologist experience .
  • Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience .
Preferred Qualifications
  • Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) certification.
  • Previous supervisory or lead technologist experience.
  • Experience in a hospital-based cardiovascular or interventional imaging environment.
Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced cardiovascular or interventional imaging technologist with strong Cath Lab experience and the ability to function as a technical and clinical leader.

The successful candidate should have strong communication skills, sound clinical judgment, technical expertise, and the ability to mentor and support other members of the department.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $111,904 $143,312 annually
