Mechanical Engineer

Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join their client's team in Durham, North Carolina. This opportunity offers a chance to work with cutting-edge industrial projects and to utilize extensive mechanical engineering skills in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Apply strong understanding of mechanical utility systems, piping design, fluid systems, and industrial equipment to various projects.
• Engage with industrial utilities including chilled water, cooling water, compressed air, or industrial gases to ensure efficient operations.
• Participate in large-scale industrial build-outs and contribute expertise to ensure successful project execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical engineering solutions seamlessly into project workflows.
• Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards during the design and implementation phases.
• Analyze and troubleshoot mechanical systems to optimize performance and reliability.
• Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering reports and documentation as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in mechanical engineering, particularly in industrial environments.
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders.

Monday - Friday, First Shift

Additional Details

Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per year
