Location: Florence, SC
Job Type: Travel Contract

Shift: 5×8 Days
Pay: $2,716/week (plus $2,500 completion bonus per contract, up to $7,500 after three contracts)

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week travel assignment in Florence, SC. The OR RN will deliver exceptional perioperative care, assisting surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient procedures while providing high-quality support to patients throughout the surgical process.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment, instruments, and supplies are available and sterile.
• Provide direct care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons during operations, maintaining a sterile field and anticipating needs.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and respond quickly to any changes.
• Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient progress according to facility protocols.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to promote optimal surgical outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in South Carolina or a compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Operating Room nursing experience (travel experience preferred).
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (additional facility-required certifications as applicable).
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination and recent tuberculosis test.
• Strong critical-thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment.
