CAD/CNC Programmer
Seeking an experienced CAD/CNC Programmer to create CNC programs and technical drawings for countertop fabrication using natural stone, quartz, porcelain, and solid surface materials. The role involves developing CAD drawings from templates, programming CNC machines, maintaining drawing accuracy, reviewing peer work for quality, managing workflow within the department, and supporting commercial and residential fabrication projects.
Create CAD drawings from templates, measurements, or verbal instructions.
Develop CNC programs using CAD/CAM software.
Program CNC machines for countertop fabrication.
Review and verify drawings and CNC programs for quality and accuracy.
Perform quality control on peer drawings and programming.
Maintain high standards of accuracy and attention to detail.
Coordinate workflow and communicate production needs with management.
Provide technical guidance and leadership within the programming department.
Support commercial and residential fabrication projects.
Work collaboratively with fabrication and production teams.
Assist with production scheduling and meet project deadlines.
Work additional hours when production demands require.
Minimum 2 years of CNC programming experience.
Experience programming CNC machines used in stone, quartz, porcelain, or solid surface fabrication.
Proficiency with CAD software.
Experience with AlphaCAM or similar CAD/CAM programming software.
Knowledge of Slabsmith software.
Experience with Perfect Match software.
Familiarity with LT2D3D Laser Template software.
Strong understanding of CNC machining processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and fabrication templates.
Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills.
Strong communication and organizational abilities.
