School Aide

School Aide (K–12) – Summer 2026 & 2026–27 School Year

Pay: $18–$21 per hour Location: Los Angeles County (El Monte, Covina, Pasadena, surrounding areas)

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking caring and dependable School Aides to support students across local K–12 districts. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy working in education and want to make a meaningful impact. Summer placements and next school year assignments are available.

Position Overview

School Aides play a key role in supporting students with academic, behavioral, and daily-living needs. You’ll help maintain a positive, structured classroom environment and ensure students receive consistent support throughout the school day.

Pay & Schedule

• $18–$21 per hour (based on experience)

• Monday–Friday, approximately 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM

• School-based schedule — no evenings or weekends

• Weekly pay

• Summer 2026 and 2026–27 school year openings available

Responsibilities

• Student assistance — Support students with academic and behavioral needs

• Daily-living support — Assist with mobility, personal care, and routine tasks (training provided)

• Classroom support — Help maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment

• Positive reinforcement — Provide encouragement and guidance throughout the day

• Team collaboration — Work closely with teachers and school staff

• Professional conduct — Demonstrate reliability, patience, and calm responses to challenges

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Must be at least 18 years old

• Experience working with children or in school settings preferred

• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented

• Able to meet district onboarding and clearance requirements
