Summary

We are seeking a Senior Field & Event Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-impact field marketing programs, trade shows, conferences, sponsorship activations, and customer engagement initiatives. 

This role serves as a strategic partner to clients, helping translate business objectives into marketing programs that drive pipeline growth, customer engagement, brand awareness, and measurable business outcomes. The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing complex event and field marketing portfolios, influencing executive stakeholders, and leading cross-functional teams through all phases of program delivery. 

The Senior Field & Event Marketing Manager is equally comfortable developing strategy, presenting recommendations to senior leaders, and rolling up their sleeves to ensure flawless execution. They will work directly with client stakeholders, field marketing and sales teams, sponsors, exhibitors, vendors, and venue partners while serving as a trusted advisor throughout the lifecycle of each program. 

This individual will own strategic planning, program execution, financial management, stakeholder communication, performance reporting, and post-program analysis to ensure every initiative delivers meaningful business impact. 

You'll spend your days on the following

• Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of trade shows, conferences, sponsorship activations, executive engagements, customer events, and field marketing programs that align with client business objectives. 
• Develop comprehensive event and field marketing strategies that support pipeline generation, customer engagement, account growth, and broader business goals. 
• Manage all phases of program planning and execution, including timelines, budgets, stakeholder communication, logistics, attendee experiences, and onsite operations. 
• Own annual and quarterly planning processes, helping clients prioritize investments, evaluate opportunities, and align event portfolios to organizational objectives. 
• Lead sponsorship fulfillment, exhibitor programs, hosted meetings, booth activations, and experiential marketing initiatives that maximize engagement and business impact. 
• Serve as a trusted advisor to client stakeholders, providing strategic recommendations, industry insights, and guidance that influence program direction and investment decisions. 
• Present program strategies, performance results, business cases, and executive-level recommendations with confidence and credibility. 
• Partner closely with sales, field marketing, creative, content, and production teams to develop integrated marketing programs that support business outcomes. 
• Build and maintain comprehensive project plans while ensuring communication, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables are proactively managed. 
• Serve as the primary strategic and operational lead for assigned clients, ensuring exceptional service, communication, and execution. 
• Track and report on program performance, including attendance, engagement, lead generation, pipeline influence, sponsorship outcomes, and overall return on investment. 
• Analyze program results and deliver actionable recommendations that improve future performance and maximize business impact. 
• Manage program budgets, forecasting, scope changes, financial communication, and event reconciliation activities. 
• Negotiate and manage vendor, venue, sponsorship, production, and partner agreements. 
• Source, evaluate, and manage vendors, venues, suppliers, exhibitors, contractors, and agency partners. 
• Lead onsite teams of staff, subcontractors, exhibitors, vendors, and agency partners during live events and activations. 
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements, best practices, and operational excellence across the organization. 
• Travel approximately 30% of the year, including onsite event execution and leadership in fast-paced event environments. 
• Participate in team meetings, training, and company initiatives while contributing to a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. 

What you need to be successful in this role

• 8+ years of experience in field marketing, event marketing, conference marketing, trade show management, experiential marketing, or related disciplines. 
• Experience developing and leading multi-event field marketing portfolios that support sales, demand generation, customer engagement, and pipeline growth objectives. 
• Experience serving as a strategic advisor to clients or business stakeholders and presenting recommendations to senior or executive-level audiences. 
• Demonstrated success managing complex programs involving multiple stakeholders, priorities, budgets, and deliverables simultaneously. 
• Strong understanding of event and field marketing metrics, pipeline influence, lead generation, ROI measurement, and data-driven decision making. 
• Experience managing significant program budgets, financial forecasting, sponsorship investments, and vendor negotiations. 
• Experience working with exhibitors, sponsors, convention centers, trade show organizers, regional marketing teams, and sales organizations. 
• Exceptional project management and organizational skills with the ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity. 
• Strong business acumen and the ability to connect program strategy to measurable business outcomes. 
• Executive presence and strong written, verbal, and presentation skills. 
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across cross-functional teams. 
• Resourceful problem solver with strong decision-making capabilities. 
• Self-motivated, highly accountable, and comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy. 
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence. 
• Ability to remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced client service environment.

Location 

Candidates must be based in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Texas, Wisconsin. Candidates local to an Augeo office are expected to work a hybrid schedule. Candidates outside commuting distance of an Augeo office may work remotely.
