Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Team as a PACU RN!


- Position: PACU RN (Post Anesthesia Care Unit)
- Shift: 12-hour Days (12x3)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM - 10:30 PM
- Location: 665A PACU Ground Floor
- Minimum Experience:
- 2 years of recent experience within the PACU specialty
- Certifications Required:
- AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)


- Preferred Experience:
- Cerner Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Unit Overview:
- Open 24 hours, 7 days a week
- Higher acuity cases including:
- Thoracic
- Orthopedic
- Neurology
- Vascular
- Urology
- General surgery cases
- Team includes Charge Nurse and Supervisor


- Holiday Expectations:
- Must work 2 major holidays out of the following 3:
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
- New Year's Day
- Must work 1 minor holiday from:
- The Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve
- New Year's Eve

- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours weekly
- Contract Duration: 110 weeks
