Kingston, OK | Maintenance | Part Time 38 Description We are currently looking for aPart Time 38 Maintenance Technician Ito join our team located at Texoma Casino. Summary: Maintains building environment and grounds by maintaining building, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment as well as grounds keeping and repair services. Responsibilities: Secures building and occupants by maintenance of fire alarm protection Maintains accurate and timely processing of all electrical safety checks, preventive and corrective work orders, contracts and other applicable documentation Paints interior and exterior walls, trim, doors, fixtures and signs as needed Maintains building climate by trouble-shooting heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment Maintains building accessibility by removing ice and snow from walkways and parking lot Mows the lawn and cleans surrounding landscapes Maintains facilities plumbing including fixtures and sprinklers Hauls file and boxes, moves furniture, sets up furnishings, prepare rooms for meetings, assemble public announcement and audio-visual equipment following manufacturer’s operating and care guidelines, and repairs and installs replacement parts to assure equipment is in working order when needed Identifies and corrects hazardous working conditions Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment Maintains and promotes professionalism Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area Performs all other duties as assigned Competencies: Essential: Able to follow instructions, both written and oral Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements Honesty, truthfulness, reliability, accountability Able to read, understand, apply, and retain knowledge of Chickasaw Nation, departmental, divisional and all other rules, regulations, policies, procedures and guidelines Able to verbally communicate in a professional and positive manner with other team members, departments, guests and management Skills: Essential: Basic Computer skills Work Order Management Application Knowledge, skill and ability to operate hand implements Experience: Essential: No prior experience required Education: Essential: High School, GED or Equivalent Credentials: Essential: Pass general background check Standard Driver's License Pass gaming background check Gaming license or permit as required by assigned position Working Conditions: Essential: May work where cigarette smoking occurs Mix of office/non-office settings Outside, all weather conditions Over head -- ladders, platforms, etc. Workshop/equipment yard Computers, printers, phones Hand-held radios Hand tools Power tools Potential exposure to blue and or white light Potential exposure to cleaning fluids and solvents Potential exposure to dust and mold Slippery surfaces Interacts with clinical, support, technical, professional or management staff in a variety of settings and situations Frequently bend, kneel, stoop, push, reach Sometimes climb ladders Sometimes climb stairs May be required to crawl Hand-eye coordination, reach and grasp Operate hand tools Manual dexterity Operate mechanic tools Operate power tools Sometimes work at heights Frequently lift and or carry up to 50 lbs Moderately strenuous work Sitting up to 75% of shift Sometimes work in small or cramped areas Standing up to 75% of shift Visual acuity for detail, distance, color, depth perception Walking up to 75% of shift Car, van, light truck Scissor lift Pass pre-employment drug test Training It is the responsibility of each employee to attend required training for their position or profession as determined by their line of support (LOS) or the leadership of the Chickasaw Nation.
